For breakfast this morning, I chucked a bunch of raw fruit into a bowl. (Blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, kiwifruit, banana, and some passion fruit on top). There's nothing I love better in the morning than some fresh yummy fruit to wake me up. This may seem like a lot of fruit to most people, but it's perfect for me and keeps me full for a while. Fruit is great for energy levels, and works just like coffee to perk you right up! (Plus it's amazing for your skin)!
JUST LOOK AT THAT DELICIOUSNESS! I was basically in vegan heaven.
As a little snack around 2:30, I munched on some chips and hummus. Hummus is a great vegan protein source. This is one of my favorite snacks of all time!
Afternoon meal: The Most Amazing Pasta Salad In The World, cantaloupe, watermelon, and carrot sticks. SO GOOD.
Evening meal: pasta with tomato pasta sauce, avocado, and stir fry vegetables. This meal was sooooo yummy and was relatively quick and easy to make.

That's so awesome that you're vegan! I'm also trying to become vegan! Are you following any guidelines such as raw till 4, 80/10/10, or the starch solution? I'm excited to hear more about how your experiences have been so far on this lifestyle!
ReplyDeleteHi Abbey! I am just a general vegan, but pushing towards a raw till 4 diet. Raw food is optimal for human health :) I love being vegan and I don't see myself stopping anytime soon. Also, good for you! Once you get over the first 3 weeks, it's smooth sailing. Good luck! Audrey
