7:00 a.m. breakfast: 2 large bananas
Bananas are one of my most favorite foods, plus they're packed with good-for-you nutrients like potassium!
10:00 a.m. snack: trail mix (Chummy you took an awful photo of this trail mix so I'm blaming you for no photo on this one ;)
12:00 p.m. afternoon meal: barley/peas/lentils mixture topped with an assortment of sautéed veg. strawberries on the side.
This combo kept be energized and full until dinnertime! I do not calorie restrict, nor do I limit how much food I intake. I simply eat until I'm full, and that works the best for me. If you're trying out a vegan diet, make sure you're eating enough! Eat heaps of high-carb and fresh vegan food along with plenty of water, and you'll feel amazing!
6:00 p.m. evening meal: "Burgers" with asparagus
THESE THINGS ARE AMAZING. I must admit, I do crave meat sometimes. Tonight for dinner, my craving was satisfied by these meatless burgers. As sketchy as they sound, I promise you, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference. On the side, I cooked up some asparagus in garlic. Too good.
And finally, as a little snack before bed, I whipped up some blueberry banana "ice cream". (Blog post coming soon!!)\
